A woman is enlisting the help of social media after losing her engagement ring in Cork.

While she isn’t certain exactly where the precious item was lost, she has clarified that she visited Youghal Beach, walked the Fota Fairy Trail, and then visited Fota Wildlife Park.

The woman’s plea for assistance was shared by Red FM DJ Neil Prendeville on Wednesday morning, and it reads: “I’m on holidays in Cork & have lost my engagement ring. We visited Youghal beach on Monday evening and on Tuesday I went for a walk on the fairy trail in Fota resort and then went to Fota Wildlife.

“I’m absolutely devastated to have lost it and I’m hoping social media may help me.”
