Make plans for Saturday, not Sunday.
There is some hope in Met Éireann’s latest regional forecast for Munster, although there’s some heavy rain on the horizon too.
Today (September 23rd) will be a good day, consistently dry with warm temperatures between 17 and 20 degrees.
While Friday will be mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of light rain or drizzle, there will also be some bright and sunny intervals — which will be at their best in south and east Munster. Once again, temperatures will hover between 17 and 21 degrees.
Saturday is expected to be a cloudy day, but the rain will largely hold off — making for a day that is ultimately warm and humid. Met Éireann expected “a good deal of dry weather” with “bright intervals” and highs of between 18 and 21 degrees.
Sadly, Sunday will be far less pleasant, with “persistent rain” buffeting the entire province with heavy showers lasting until late in the evening.
This heavy rain will clear a path for Monday to be a cooler, fresher and drier, with mild temperatures between 13 and 16 degrees.
