Some very good weather news.
Summer might technically be over, but you wouldn’t know it from Met Éireann’s regional forecast for Munster for the coming week.
Today (Monday, September 6th) will be a pleasant, dry and warm day, with temperatures expected to reach highs of between 21 and 24 degrees in Cork.
Tomorrow is expected to be even more of a scorer, the mercury soaring as high as 26 degrees, with long spells of sunshine emerging following a foggy start to the morning.
While there will be scattered showers throughout the week, Wednesday is also expected to be a warm day with plenty of sun, and temperatures are expected to hit 24 degrees.
Thursday is expected to be more a more tumultuous day, with showers becoming more intense and the risk of thunderstorms increasing, even as temperatures hover around the 21 degree mark. Friday is a few days away yet, but Met Éireann is expecting a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers once again.
