Hoping to get involved in organising the Cork Pride Festival this year?

Whether you’re new in town or just want to find out more about how it all comes together every summer, head for Starbucks on Opera Lane this Friday.

Cork Pride is looking for new recruits to expand and build on their dynamic and diverse committee.

An information evening entitled Building PRIDE Together will allow volunteers to meet the current committee and learn more about what’s involved.

Areas of interest include PR and marketing, event co-ordination, graphic design, volunteer recruitment, fundraising and finance – so if any other those are in your wheelhouse, you could make an important contribution. 

New committee members will need to actively attend sub-committee meetings once a month with meetings becoming more regular as Cork Pride week approaches so prepare to roll up your sleeves.

Building PRIDE Together begins at 8pm on Friday, February 16th upstairs in Starbucks on Opera Lane.
