Wanna get paid to read in the nude? Right this way, please…

Are you most comfortable in your birthday suit?
If nudity is your favourite form of self expression, an upcoming arts show could be the ideal paid gig for you.
As part of the music and arts festival Quarter Block Party, organisers have put a call out for performers (aged 18 and older) to volunteer for a show called Naked Boys Reading on February 9th.
There are four slots available on the day and readers will select from a curated set of texts chosen to fit a theme and read books in the buff in front of a delighted audience.
On the day, readers arrive by 11am for sound check. Later, they will read naked on stage for between eight and 12 minutes from 12pm. Everyone who takes part will be paid a fee of €30 for their time.
‘We’re seeking readers who identify as a “boy” (or wish to for an evening!) for a paid reading on 09.02.19.’ reads the casting ad.
‘The event will be curated by a special guest. We’ll be pulling out all the stops for an evening of naked readings, drinks, and just probably some lovely chats tbh.’
Ready to get involved? For more on the show, check out the Facebook page. To sign up, email Justin at nakedboysreading@gmail.com noting that you’re interested in the Cork reading.
Tickets for Naked Boys Reading, curated by Cork author Caroline O’Donoghue, are €5.99 and available here.
