Walk-in vaccination centres to reopen from today

It’s open all week.
Cork City Hall has reopened for walk-in vaccinations following a temporary closure over Christmas Day and St. Stephen’s Day. The centre will be offering walk-in boosters for all those over the age of 40 until 7.30pm this evening, as well as all healthcare workers over the age of 30.
According to HSE Live, there is currently no queue at City Hall.

The centre will be open all week, and from Wednesday December 29th boosters will be available to anybody over 30, or anyone over the age of 16 who originally received the Janssen vaccine.
10,404 new cases of the virus were confirmed yesterday — a figure that would likely be higher if everyone could access a PCR test. 426 people are currently in hospital due to Covid, 91 of whom are in intensive care units.
