Bigger isn’t always better.
Sometimes it’s the smaller markets that can bear the best fruit as they tend to veer towards smaller creators and independent artists, which means that what you are buying is handmade, local, and in limited supply.
This weekend, the folks up at The Living Commons in Shandon are hosting vendors selling some unique handmade crafts, vintage and designer wear as well as festive treats for the spirit.
Stallholders include Annie Mar- who is selling weird and wonderful cards, tree ornaments, and prints, as well as jeweller and ocean-inspired Saltwater Design, pins and prints from Mink Super Store, folklore-inspired acrylic-wood designs by Niamh Leonard, and much more.
There will be lots of incredible vintage and preloved clothes as well as a bric-a-brac so it will be worth the trip up the hill for a sconce.
