Fancy getting paid for a turn on the silver screen?
A notice has been posted seeking extras to take part in the filming of Holding, the four-part adaptation of Graham Norton’s New York Times bestselling novel of the same name.
The crime drama will star Conleth Hill, perhaps most famous for his turn as Lord Varys in HBO’s Game of Thrones, and will be shot on location in West Cork, where it is set (in a fictional town named Duneen).
The call is seeking applications from “adults over 18 from all backgrounds, abilities and ethnicities.” Those who apply are asked to send their name, age, measurements (including waist size, chest size and shoe size), Eircode, a full-length high-quality photo and an overview of their availability between July and September to [email protected]
Of the series, legendary talk show host and Cork’s native son Norton has said: “I am beyond excited to see the story and characters I created being brought to the screen. I love how the brilliant creative team have transformed my novel into something so rich and dramatic. West Cork is ready for its close-up.”
