Try city kayaking, scuba diving and sea shanty singing at Cork Harbour Festival this year

We can almost feel the sea breeze.
The largest annual event in Cork Harbour is set to return this summer with an 11-day celebration of coastal life. The festival will feature over 50 events, taking place in 15 idyllic locations.
Opening the festival will be the infamous Ocean to City An Rás Mór, a long-distance rowing race that attracts hundreds of spectators every year, which is set to return after a two-year hiatus on dry land.
There will also be a plethora of family-friendly and free events to look forward which aim to get Corkonians active on the water and savouring everything our beautiful harbour has to offer.

Festivities centre around a range of activities including the environment, the water, heritage, art and song, as well as family.
You can avail of a free lesson in Sailing with Royal Cork Yacht Club in Crosshaven; explore the city by kayak with Atlantic Sea Kayaking; sing a sea shanty at The Molgoggers Sea Shanty Concert in Nano Nagle Place or try your hand at scuba diving in Robert’s Cove!
Also featured are events on birdwatching, maritime exhibitions, tours of Spike Island, an aerial performance by Cork Circus Factory and a walking tour from Mahon & Blackrock with Councillor Kieran McCarthy.
And if all of that isn’t enough, you can finish off your days will a Sunset Kayaking Tour from Lapp’s Quay to watch the fading sunlight shimmer on the river.
