Few landmarks are as iconic.
At home or abroad, nothing makes us more nostalgic than the sight of the Shandon Tower stretching up into the clear skies above the Lee.
Now you can take a little piece of Cork with you everywhere you go in the form of a printed tote bag from Totes up Cycled Ireland.
Lisa Hodge, artist and tote-maker behind the company, has selected the much-loved tower for her new range of Cork-themed accessories, available exclusively at Foxglove Cocktail Company on Lancaster Quay.
The bags are handmade from 100% up-cycled and recycled material using her original artwork; so you are not only supporting a young Irish business and artist but helping to tackle fabric waste in the fashion industry to boot.

Hodge has more than one Cork-inspired design in her collection: You can also treat yourself to a printed tote of the Berwick Fountain on Grand Parade -informally known as the ‘Hillbilly’s Fountain’- and both designs come with an Irish translation of their titles. Go hiontach!
Tote bags by Totes Up-Cycled Ireland are available from Foxglove Cocktail Company on Lancaster Quay, open every Thursday to Saturday, 12pm-6pm.
