The Fran Well Beer Fest is a great way to keep busy on Sunday

It’s been two years in the making.
The Fran Well Beer Fest is back this weekend and craft enthusiasts can look forward to a jam-packed event filled with tastings, tours and locally brewed teasers.
This year, festival-goers will learn how to pour their own stout, discover what goes into making the best quality beer and hear about the history and heritage of brewing in the famous former monastery.
There’ll be specially crafted Monk Cocktails to sip on, and most importantly, plenty of IPAs from freshly tapped kegs.
And if the weather plays ball, it’ll be absolutely glorious in the beer garden.
The beer is only as good as the maker so the Fran Well crew have pulled all the strings in getting top breweries to bring their best brews to Sunday’s Well.
These include: Lough Gill Brewery, Cork’s own Rising Sons Brewery, Black Donkey Brewing, Blacks Brewery & Distillery, Yellow Belly Beer, Galway Bay Brewery, and Dublin-based Whiplash, with more to be announced.
