To Cobh, where a new yoga class is happening in a unique heritage building

Like your stretch with some pretty scenery?
A new yoga class starting in Cobh will take participants through their paces in the atmospheric setting of the Sirius Arts Centre.
Wannabe yogis are invited to embark on a transformative six-week journey (at least on Saturday mornings) at the historic former Royal Cork Yacht Club.
Built in 1854, the location boasts stunning views of Cork Harbour the perfect backdrop for seekers of serenity. The Italianate building was designed by Anthony Salvin, best known for his restoration work on Windsor Castle and the Tower of London.
Led by accomplished instructor, Amy Whitston of Amy’s Yoga Times, who has taught classes in Dublin and Vancouver, as well as in Cork City, this innovative yoga experience promises to rejuvenate both body and mind.

“I started Yoga at the SIRIUS to bring people together in this beautiful space to move, rest and breathe. It is a little pocket of magic in our town every Saturday morning.” says Amy.
“Everyone is welcome- from beginners to pros, flexible, inflexible. If you can breathe, you can do yoga.”
The next round of pre-booked and drop-in classes is set to begin on June 17th, 2023 spanning a six-week period on Saturday mornings. You can book your spot here.
