This TikToker is exploring global cuisine in Cork (and here are her top picks)

We’ll have what she’s having.
Kinsale-based content creator and influencer, Robyn Courtney is eating her way around the world in Cork as part of her latest delectable TikTok and Instagram series and the delicious tips are well worth putting on your ‘must-eat’ list.
The 28-year-old Tipperary gastronomic globetrotter, who has almost 50,000 followers across her “It’s the life of Robyn” social media pages, is already known for her Eating My Way Around Cork series. Robyn’s infectious enthusiasm has brought her to almost 60 restaurants, all meticulously trialled, savoured, and reviewed.
Robyn told Yay Cork that some of her favourite global eats so far in her newest series, Around the World in Cork, have been the Italian delights at Marcello’s in Douglas and the flavours of Brazil at Sabor Nordestino on Washington Street.
Her top Asian pick? The gorgeous Japanese dishes at Wabisabi Sushi and Noodles Bar on Oliver Plunkett Street.

However, there’s more to Robyn’s culinary escapade than just savouring delightful dishes. She’s on a mission to support local businesses, creating fun and engaging ways to showcase and uplift Cork’s vibrant food scene. Robyn’s love for the city and its food culture is evident in every bite and every review, and she’s made it her mission to spread the word.
“I’m trying to get to as many restaurants as possible,” she enthuses. “At the moment I’m just putting all the work into helping promote these businesses and creating fun and engaging ways to help support them.”
Robyn added that other incredible options that people must sample are Courtmacsherry gem, The Lifeboat Inn and the vegan delights at The Saucy Cow in the Marina Market. With her move to Cork two years ago, Robyn’s “massive love of creating and food” was ignited, and she’s been on a thrilling journey ever since.
As if that weren’t enough, Robyn recently made a splash on Virgin Media’s Ireland AM, representing Discover Ireland and showcasing the wonders of Cork. “The last year has been super fun and exciting,” she exclaims. “It’s moving fast, but I absolutely love it. Most of all, it’s great to be able to share businesses on a platform I have created.”
In addition to signing with The Collaborations Agency, she’s converted a van to travel around the country and set up her very own adventure retreats, inspiring others to break free from their comfort zones and embrace the thrill of the unknown. She’s also playing matchmaker of sorts with her meet-ups, inviting folks for coffee, walks, and chats to help them make new friends in Cork.
If you fancy a taste of adventure then it’s definitely worth giving Robyn a follow.
