This seaside coffee trailer has a choice of toppings for your hot buttered croissant

We know, we know; the week is only beginning.
But it’s good to have something delicious to look forward to as you schlep to the gym or pound the pavement and a good pastry is a small pleasure that can bring big happiness.
Especially if it’s festooned with Nutella, dusted in Biscoff, and topped in melted Kinder Bueno sauce.
Perched on the edge of Bantry Bay, Grounded N71 is a slick black coffee trailer with an outrageously good take on the classic flaky-layered French treat.
You can order your buttered croissant plain (delicious) or you can dress it up in a wide range of naughty toppings, from chocolate bits to peanut bites, molten sauces, and dollops of fresh cream – the choice is yours.
The French may disapprove but we reckon even the most traditional gourmand would eventually succumb to a bite.
They also make a mean waffle, some tasty milkshakes, and a coconut mocha made with West Cork Coffee, all of which can be enjoyed on the Quay overlooking Bantry Bay.
Grounded N71 is open 10am to 4pm daily. Use the Eircode P75 XW35 to get you there or follow them on Instagram for updates.
