This scenic seaside yoga class costs just €10 – and the views are priceless

Grab your mat and head west.
If your ideal summer morning involves stretching, sea air and spectacular coastal views, this might be the most peaceful event we’ve spotted all week.
A series of outdoor yoga classes is taking place at Courtmacsherry Rowing Club throughout July, giving people the chance to roll out their mats overlooking one of West Cork’s most beautiful stretches of coastline.
Hosted by Abhaile Yoga, the hour-long sessions are designed to help participants reconnect with their breath, move mindfully and enjoy a slower start to the day.

Organiser Chloe describes the classes as “a calming space to stretch, strengthen and simply be” – and honestly, with those views, we’re already feeling more relaxed.
The sessions run from 9.30am to 10.30am on selected Fridays and Saturdays throughout July, with dates including July 10th, 11th, 18th, 24th and July 31st, while an additional class on 1 August is also planned, subject to confirmation.
Classes cost €10 each, or €50 for six sessions, making them an affordable way to build a little mindfulness into your summer routine.
Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and, if they have one, a cushion for extra comfort.
Whether you’re a regular yogi or simply looking for an excuse to spend more time outdoors this summer, it’s hard to imagine a better setting for a morning stretch than the stunning coastline at Courtmac’.
