Stevie G is DJing a sauna rave and cold plunge party in Cork this weekend
It’s gonna be a hot one.
With temperatures expected to soar to 29C this Saturday, one Cork wellness spot has come up with what might be the city’s coolest way to beat the heat.
The Hot Box on Victoria Road is hosting a Cold Plunge Summer Party on Saturday evening, combining ice baths, sauna sessions and live music for a wellness event that’s a little different from your average summer social.
Taking place from 6pm to 8pm, the over-18s event will feature a live DJ set from Cork favourite Stevie G, alongside guided sauna rituals and unlimited access to cold plunges throughout the evening.
And because no summer party is complete without refreshments, guests will also be treated to complimentary Guinness 0.0 and Guinness Draught.

The event comes as Cork braces for what could be one of the hottest days of the year, making an icy plunge into cold water sound surprisingly appealing.
As an added bonus, organisers are currently offering a buy-one, get-one-free ticket deal for anyone booking today – it’s €40 for two people.
