This Northside jam session takes places outdoors every Saturday

Everyone’s welcome.
There has been some amazing talent emerging from the Northside over the last few years and organisations such as The Kabin Studio are always encouraging more young people to step outside of their comfort zone and be more creative.
Now the crew at the studio, converted into a Youth Music & Creative Space by Garry McCarthy of GMCBeats in 2013, are calling for local musicians, artists and singers to join a weekly jam session at their community space.
Taking to Instagram, The Kabin Studio posted: “Singers, musicians, rappers, beatmakers and creatives in the area! Wanna come along to our @musicalneighbourhoods Open Jam Sessions tomorrow and every Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm?
“Stress-free sessions with tea, chats and tunes. Over 18s only. No experience required.”

The Kabin Studio are also the masterminds behind the now infamous hit by 11-year-old MC Abdul whose heartbreaking rap song about Palestine (which sampled Eminem’s Cleaning Out my Closet) struck a chord with people around the world in 2021.
Jam Sessions take place from 1pm-3pm every Saturday outside the Kabin Studio, Harbour View Road, Holyhill.
