This man just proposed from the top of the Shandon steeple

Lads, THE ROMANCE.
Anyone who has ever popped the question to their beloved knows that finding the perfect spot for a romantic proposal is a tricky feat.
For one Lavitt’s Quay resident however, the ideal location was right outside the window of his home.
The staff of the Shandon Bells visitor experience at St Anne’s Church helped one Cork man to concoct a very public marriage proposal this weekend – complete with a sign reading ‘Niamh will you marry me?’ at the top of one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Sharing the story on their Instagram feed, @shandon.bells posted:
‘Thankfully after all that effort, she said yes! Huge congratulations to Ian and Niamh. They live on Lavitts Quay and after Ian told her something was happening atop Shandon Tower, she looked through binoculars and saw the banner held up by their families!’
We’re not crying. You’re crying.
