A Cork formal fashion swap is making occasionwear more affordable

If you’ve got a calendar full of celebrations looming, but your bank account isn’t quite matching the dress code, this upcoming Cork event might be exactly what you’re looking for.
A special Formal Swap is taking place at St Peter’s on Saturday, June 20th, giving fashion lovers the chance to refresh their occasionwear wardrobe without dropping €300 on something new.
The idea is simple: bring along up to two formal outfits or accessories that have been sitting unworn in your wardrobe and swap them for something fresh. Think wedding guest dresses, Debs outfits, jumpsuits, statement pieces, bags and accessories that deserve another outing rather than gathering dust at the back of a wardrobe.

Organisers promise rails packed with beautiful occasionwear that’s ready for a second life, whether you’re searching for something elegant for a summer wedding, a standout look for a special event, or simply an excuse to treat yourself to a wardrobe refresh.
More than just a swap shop, the morning is also designed as a social event, bringing together fashion lovers for a browse, a chat and a bit of style inspiration.
The Formal Swap takes place at St Peter’s from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, June 20th. Participants can bring a maximum of two formal outfits to swap on a two-in, two-out basis.
