If you’re ready to put your baking skills to the ultimate test, entries are now being accepted for the first ever Great Cork Bake Off, which is being held as part of the Chocolate and Baking Weekend this November.

Paul Kelly, Executive Pastry Chef from The Merrion Hotel and judge on The Great Irish Bake Off will judge The Great Cork Bake Off on Sunday, November 25th from 12pm to 2pm.

If you fancy yourself as the next Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry or Rachel Allen then this is the competition for you. To enter, simply fill in your details here along with a photograph of your latest bake.

The top 15 bakes will be selected to participate and will be asked to bring their Christmas themed ‘show stopper’ to The Cork Chocolate and Baking Weekend at the Cork International Hotel for the final competition, with fabulous prizes to be won.

On the day The Cork International Hotel will be raising money for Bumbulance, the charity of choice for the hotel, so make sure you bring a crew of supporters if you get through the tough judging portion of the competition.

From November 23rd to 25th, some of the best chocolatiers and bakers in Europe will land in Cork to host fun events and inspiring workshops that celebrate chocolate in all its gooey glory, so you can learn about chocolate as well as devouring it. Weekend packages are available here,
