This is when you can expect the heatwave to return to Cork

The heatwave is coming back.
Despite a rather dull start to the week, the weather is set for a major improvement in the coming days.
Met Éireann is forecasting temperatures of up to 23C in some parts of the country by midweek, with moderate breezes.
Despite some patchy drizzle and light rain in some parts of Cork until Tuesday, Wednesday will bring more settled weather with dry conditions and sunny spells.
Thursday and Friday will be good too, with the national forecaster predicting it will be ‘dry and fine with warm sunny weather prevailing’ by next weekend.
Inland temperatures are likely to get well into the twenties, which should give us all a chance to enjoy the new patio furniture.
