Fontaines DC will play the Marquee this summer.

Today the Dublin post-punk rockers announced that after they return from Coachella in April, they’ll be stopping off for shows in Cork on May 28th and hitting Belfast’s Live at Botanic Gardens on May 29th.

The Live at the Marquee show represents a handy opportunity to watch the five-piece, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan, Grian Chatten, and Tom Coll, perform tracks from their debut album, Dogrel, released in April.

It’s been a wild 12 months for the band, who met while they were all poetry-reading students at music college in Dublin. As well as sell-out tours all over the globe, they also appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and scooped Album of the Year 2019 from both Rough Trade and BBC 6Music.

Tickets for the Aiken Promotions Live at the Marquee 2020 show go on sale this Friday via Ticketmaster.
