This is when we can expect summer to return to Cork

Spoiler alert: we’re in for a miserable weekend.
If you were planning on busting the barbecue out of the shed, it might be best to leave it there for now.
With a Status Yellow weather alert just over, there’s more rain and wind on the way.
According to Met Eireann, Saturday will see a mix of showers and sunny spells, but some of the showers may be heavy and prolonged.
Temperatures will barely creep above 11 to 13 degrees.
And if you’re heading out on Saturday night, bring a proper coat; the national forecaster warns ‘It will turn cold with lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees giving a touch of grass frost and some shallow fog.’
Lovely stuff.
The end is in sight, however; temperatures are expected to soar to a balmy 18C on Monday and Tuesday, staying dry and sunny across most of Ireland.
