This is the local coffee brand served in two Cork Michelin star restaurants

It’s the perfect finish to an epic meal.
And if you’re lucky enough to be dining in one of Cork’s esteemed Michelin-starred restaurants, you can rest assured that every last coffee bean has been thoughtfully chosen to enhance the experience.
When it comes to choosing delicious coffee, at least two of Cork’s best restaurants serve locally roasted West Cork Coffee at the end of the meal.
The brand, founded by Tony Speight, will be highlighting its wholesale partners on Instagram over the coming weeks and kicked things off by sharing some details about the coffee they supply to two of Cork’s most famous Michelin-starred restaurants.
“A popular question we receive at the West Cork Coffee Roastery would be, which bean/origin our individual wholesale partners serve to their customers,” said Speight
“We specialise in sourcing individual single-origin coffees for each customer. This involves research, cuppings, and sensory analysis with their staff and customers.”
First up is ichigo ichie, chef Takashi Miyazaki’s much-lauded Japanese restaurant on Sheares Street.
“These guys serve our natural Ethiopia. This high altitude and complex coffee complements their amazing menu,” said Speight.

“Next up is Restaurant Chestnut, an intimate restaurant in the heart of West Cork, rooted in tradition, creativity, and family.
“These guys will be using our honey Honduras for their upcoming seasonal menu. Deep chocolate and cherry flavours and a sweet grape acidity.”
Both coffees are available to purchase online at the West Cork Coffee shop.
