There’s a pooch-pleasing selection of treats on offer, from chicken and beef meatloaf and homemade dog biscuits to dog-friendly ice cream.

Furry friends can even slurp a glass of Pawsecco to celebrate the occasion.

Two-legged guests can also enjoy their own afternoon tea, with the usual tempting assortment of delicate finger sandwiches and pastries on offer.

Those that wish to really pamper their pooch can book a special hotel package at The Egerton including; an overnight stay in a beautifully appointed room, full English breakfast in bed, plus a Doggy Afternoon Tea and a Traditional Afternoon Tea.

At €45 per person and €20 per pooch, it’s a high end treat for dogs who enjoy the finer things in life.

Plus, you could always hand the bill to your furry friend to take care of when you’re finished.
