Ryanair pilots will stage a FOURTH strike on the August Bank Holiday

There’s travel chaos on the horizon again, with Dublin-based Ryanair pilots voting to strike for the fourth time this summer on Friday, August 3rd.
The 24-hour strike will affect holidaymakers hoping to enjoy the bank holiday long weekend.
Last week Ryanair cancelled 24 flights to Portugal, Italy, Greece, France and Spain after a quarter of their 350 Irish pilots voted for strike action on Friday, July 20th.
Today, a further 600 flights were cancelled across Europe.
The Irish strike action will go ahead after Ryanair management failed to reach an agreement with trade union Fórsa regarding holiday allocation, promotions and transfers among pilots.
Earlier today, the airline said it plans to cut 20 percent of its Irish fleet because of the current staffing issues, resulting in the potential loss of up to 300 jobs.
Ryanair also took to Twitter to apologise to 50,000 customers whose flights were cancelled last week during another 48-hour strike, firmly pointing the finger at its cabin crews based in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium for the upset.
