This German micro bakery is bringing its crusty sourdough to St Luke’s

Is there a better way to start a Saturday?
Angela Nöthlings will be selling delicious organic artisan sourdough bread in St Luke’s this weekend, setting up her Ryes & Shine sourdough stall outside Henchys on Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
“All my bread is real bread, meaning it contains the ingredients flour-water-salt (and a fair amount of time and passion). ” Angela posted on Instagram.
That means no additives, conservatives, or improvers – just the real deal, perfect with a big slab of butter and a fried egg.

“All loaves are naturally fermented and don’t contain commercial yeast. I use the best flours only, either organic and/or Irish grown and milled.
“Everything I sell is handmade by me in my HSE registered micro-bakery at home.”
Having started the business in July 2021, the Ryes & Shine fanbase has been growing since. Pop over and say hello and try some samples before you stock up.
Afterwards you could swing by Cork Coffee Roasters for a brew to enjoy on the way home.
