This fun class teaches kids how to make instruments AND play them

Brought to you by Dali.
Looking for a kid-friendly activity to do on a Sunday?
A genius new workshop will be popping up in Dali on Carey’s Lane on Sunday, May 5th, inviting children of all ages to build a musical instrument… then play it as part of band.
The music and arts space, housed in the 100-year-old Pavilion cinema, will play host to Dabble Doo, who will hold two workshops aimed at ages 5-8 and 8-12 on the day.
Kicking off with an instrument-making session (using kits designed especially for the children) the group will get a brief introduction to these DIY instruments to inspire them.
They will then be guided in making their own instrument, which they can take home when the class is over.
When the instruments are ready, the group will enjoy a full music workshop where everyone gets to join in using Dabbledoo’s range of free and engaging tools, which use shapes, colours, musical characters and animated music activities to support easy group music-making.
Parents and tiny tots are welcome to join in too so bring a coffee and a budding musician and have a boogie.
