Looking for a fun new garden game?

If your dog is as bored as you are during the lockdown, one Irish company has a bonkers idea that will guarantee you both an hour or two of top-notch fun during the quarantine.

Jiminy.ie, Ireland’s biggest distributor of eco-friendly kids’ art supplies, crafts, and toys has just launched Dr Zig’s Eco Doggie Giant Bubbles – enormous bubbles that will keep your pet bounding around in the grass as they float and pop.

“We have so many customers that buy our Giant Bubbles for their four-legged friends to chase and pop, that we thought we’d make a special formula just for them!” said a Dr Zig’s spokesperson.

“These bubbles are peanut butter scented, vegan, palm-oil free, and contain no nuts. These are fine for everyone, even with allergies. Just like all our other bubbles these non-toxic, fully biodegradable, and just lovely.”

Say no more! How soon can I order?

The kit, which costs €33.99 here, contains a 40cm wand with rope and one litre of peanut butter scented bubble mix in a Fairtrade cotton bag. It’s available now.

The company behind the bubbles have used them to nab two Guinness Word Records – most people making giant bubbles using tri-strings (giant bubble wands) and most people making giant bubbles using garlands (multi-wands).

Who knows, by the time the lockdown is over you might be ready to challenge them for the title.
