MONK cocktail bar, the hidden speakeasy above the Franciscan Well Brewery on the North Mall, is opening up their bar to the thirsty masses every Thursday this summer with some seriously savvy drinks.

All the classics on their cocktail list are available for a bargain €6 on Thursdays.

From the Whiskey Sour and the Woo Woo (Malibu, Peach Schnapps and lime), the Mojito to the Cosmo, you can toast the weekend early with your mates without spending a rent payment on fancy drinks.

Grab some tasty bites from the food menu upstairs and challenge the gang to some board games; Monk’s games collection includes Snakes & Ladders, Guess Who, 5 Second Rule, Cards Against Humanity and 30 Seconds, to name but a few.

With the weather warming up, we’ll be kicking off with a Sex on the Beach or a Tequila Sunrise.

The Forest Bramble looks tasty too; a blend of gin, chambord, lemon juice and fresh berries.

At that price, they’ll have to stop us from trying the entire list.
