These charity S’Mores Kits are an excellent reason to fire up the BBQ this weekend

Looking for a fun way to entertain the kids this weekend?
A local charity has come up with a fun kit containing everything you need to make a classic American campfire treat at home…. and all the profits go to an excellent cause.
The Rainbow Club Cork Centre for Autism has put together a S’mores Kit containing biscuits, Nutella, marshmallows and hot chocolate as part of their Easter fundraising drive.
For the unfamiliar, a s’more is a marvellously gooey toasted marshmallow squished between two biscuits slathered in chocolate.

You can make your s’mores indoors and toast your marshmallows over the gas hob (adult supervision essential) or you could fire up the barbecue and grill them alfresco. Either way, they’re guaranteed to impress nieces, nephews, kids and grandkids.
A professional autism service provider, supported by over 60 volunteers, The Rainbow Club provided skills, support and a community hub for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
The S’Mores Kits and Easter Treat Boxes can be collected from The Cottage Community Café in Mahon every day this week and all profits go directly towards supporting the work of The Rainbow Club in Cork.
