These are the routes for ‘A City and A Garden’, a guided trail you can enjoy on your phone

All will be revealed on June 11th.
Some of Ireland’s most exciting writers, musicians, and voice artists have joined forces to create a new sonic experience combining music, storytelling, and an intriguing walking trail.
Now, ahead of the launch of the project commissioned by Sounds from a Safe Harbour in association with Body & Soul as part of the Brightening Air | Coiscéim Coiligh and Cork Midsummer Festival, the walking routes for A City and A Garden have been announced.
Literary curator Danny Denton (editor of The Stinging Fly) has selected a story by Louise Hegarty to take you from North Mall in Cork to Bells Field.
Alternatively, you can walk with Lisa McInerney from The Shakey Bridge to Red Abbey Square.
Two other routes will lead participants around Dublin, with stories voiced by Hilary Rose (The Young Offenders, Smother), Conor Lovett (I’ll Find You, Endeavour: Coda, Versailles), Dorothy Murphy and Tolü Makay.
Creating soundscapes to these stories are musicians Seán Mac Erlaine (sound designer and musical director), Fish Go Deep and The Quiet Club.
Visual installations by artist and designer Deirdre Breen will adorn each route, with WP Cork Developers providing the state-of-the-art technology to guide you through the four trails.
