Met Éireann just issued two Status Yellow weather warnings for Cork

Met Éireann has issued two Status Yellow weather alerts for Cork, covering Thursday and Friday.
A Status Yellow – Wind warning for Cork, Kerry kicks in at midnight tonight until midnight on Thursday, when southerly winds, later veering westerly, will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 km/h with gusts of 80 to 110 km/h. Higher gusts are possible in coastal areas.

A second Status Yellow – Rainfall warning has also been issued for Cork, Clare, Kerry, Waterford, Galway and Mayo.
From midnight on Wednesday to midnight on Thursday, forecasters predict rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm with some localised flooding.
