There’s a Status Yellow weather warning in place for Cork

There’s a wet weekend in store.
While temperatures are slowly on the rise, if you were hoping for a bit of spring sunshine over the coming days you’ll be sorely disappointed.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning for Cork, Kerry, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.
A deluge of 30 to 50mm of rain is expected to fall from Thursday evening into Friday, with a risk of flooding following heavy rainfall.

Friday will continue wet and very windy, with strong to very strong and gusty southeast winds.
At least we can finally remove our thermals; top temperatures will be around 10 or 11 degrees.
