Attention, cheese lovers.

Nothing warms a wet and dreary weekend quite like a piping hot toastie and if you live within 5km of Ballymaloe, you’re in for a treat.

A Grilled Cheese Pop-Up Takeaway will open at the Ballymaloe Cookery School this Saturday, February 20th from 11am until 3pm.

Run by the Crawford Gallery Cafe team, the menu will be a major upgrade on your usual sandwich; we’re talkin’ fancy cheese, oven-fresh bread and a variety of toppings:

“Expect molten Irish farmhouse cheeses, spicy Gubbeen chorizo, freshly made pesto and buffalo mozzarella all on Bread Shed bread with wild garlic mayonnaise and pickles.” the cafe crew said.

Social distancing guidelines will be in place so take care to observe them if you drop by.
