It was a huge hit at Christmas.
Now Cork’s favourite cheese slingers Lekker are back at the Marina Market for the first time in 2021, so locals can swing by and pick up a seriously naughty lunch or dinner.
Lekker’s indulgent raclette is the stuff of dreams; hot, gooey cheese pillowed on top of a crispy bed of goose fat potatoes.
To be honest, it’s exactly the kind of comfort food we could all do with right now. In case you’re new to the game, here’s how it works:

David Quirke and Rory O’Leary came up with the idea for Lekker when the pandemic put a sharp stop to work at their event companies Red Penguin and Catered.
Both big foodies, they settled on bringing raclette cheese – a Swiss delicacy made for oozing and melting – to Leeside, where local cheese fans went wild for the idea.
Lekker is open from 12pm at the Marina Market, where there are acres of space to spread out and social distancing in place throughout.
