There’s a delightful donation-based yoga sesh’ happening in this city park

Looking for a way to unwind this weekend?
Starting your day with a yoga class can be a beautiful way to set your intentions and calm your mind. Now there’s a new class that offers heaps of good vibes and a decent stretch in the great outdoors.
Local yogi Lauren Marples is hosting an outdoor yoga class in Kennedy Park (situated between Victoria Road and Monahan Road) this Sunday, July 16th, 2023, from 12pm to 1.15pm.
The class is available for drop-ins or pre-booking, so you can choose what works best for your schedule. Be sure to bring your own yoga mat, water, any props you like to use, and a jumper in case the weather is cooler.
And speaking of weather, in the event of extremely wet conditions, the class may be cancelled for safety reasons. If this happens, you will receive a refund.

The class will include breathwork, meditation, and asana practice, giving you a well-rounded yoga experience.
“If you have any injuries or health matters you’d like to discuss with me prior to the class, please let me know in advance or on the day,” says Lauren.
