There WILL be a Long Table Dinner this year (but it will be shorter and held at your house)

It’s the hottest ticketed event in the Cork calendar.
This year however, Covid-19 restrictions have put the kibosh on Cork’s famous Long Table Dinner, so organisers have come up with a unique way for diners to enjoy a taste of the experience at home.
Some of the restaurants behind the annual event, which usually sees diners served al fresco at an enormous table running down the South Mall, have joined forces to produce a Long Table Picnic hamper of delicious local produce and beverages to enjoy at home on Sunday, June 21st.
It works like this: Each luxurious picnic hamper serves two. Put in your order and your hamper will be available for collection from The Imperial Hotel at a designated time to ensure adherence to social distancing guidelines.

Participants include The Imperial Hotel, Farmgate Café, Ali’s Kitchen, Dockland Restaurant, Nash 19, Jacobs on the Mall and Electric so you’re guaranteed a Midsummer’s feast to remember, even if you’re enjoying it with your other half out the back garden.
Hampers will be ready to order soon so keep an eye on the website to make sure you nab one.
