There was an adorable proposal at the Kodaline concert in Musgrave Park

It was a night to remember for fans.
But Friday night’s Kodaline concert at Musgrave Park was extra special for one Mayfield couple after they got engaged at the gig.
Colin McCarthy popped the question to longtime love Rebecca Crowley during the band’s performance of their hit song The One – a popular track for proposals.
The two lovebirds, who are both healthcare assistants at Cork’s Cope Foundation, have been together for six years and share two young daughters, Bonnie 5, and Bailey, aged 2.
Rebecca was delighted, if a little suspicious when the couple ended up securing a spot in the ‘golden circle’, placing them three rows back from the stage.

The pair were singing along with the crowds and enjoying the evening when Colin decided to make his move:
“Kodaline started singing their big song, The One and I said to Coin, we’ll get a video, will we? But as I got the video he started crying and next thing, I looked and he was down on one knee!” said Rebecca, speaking on The Opinionline on Cork’s 96FM.
“The whole crowd went mad. Halfway through it, the main singer in Kodaline said ‘hold on, is that a proposal? Then we were up on the screen and everything. It was unbelievable.”
Lads, the romance.
