There are two free walking tours you can join in Cork this weekend

The city will be buzzing for the bank holiday, so what better time to soak up some history and culture?
Two walking tours of Cork will take groups on an adventure past some of the city’s most historic sites this weekend – and you don’t have to pay a cent to join in.
The first tour on Saturday, March 16th is in English and begins at 11am, meeting at Elizabeth Fort on Barrack Street.
On St Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17th) a Spanish tour will leave from St Peter’s on North Main Street, also at 11am.
Cork city was once fully walled, so look out for the remnants of the old medieval town centre around South and North Main streets as you listen to tales of our monastic and viking beginnings.
