Ryanair just launched a new Cork route (and ski bunnies will be delighted)

Ryanair has announced a new Cork route to Katowice.
A gateway to some of the major affordable ski resorts in southern Poland, the twice weekly service will commence in October, as part of the budget airline’s Cork Winter 2019 schedule.
Ryanair’s winter offering now features 15 routes in total with five new routes to Alicante, Budapest, Malta, Poznan and Katowice.

To celebrate its new Katowice route, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from just €14.99 for travel from March to May, which must be booked by midnight Saturday (March 16th) on Ryanair.com.
“As Cork Airport enters our fourth year of consecutive growth, we are delighted to add Katowice to our growing network of over 50 routes to the UK, Continental Europe, and the east coast of the USA.” said Niall MacCarthy, Managing Director, Cork Airport.

“Katowice is located only an hour’s drive from the beautiful city of Kraków, a historical and visual gem.
“This new route will also benefit the large Polish community in the south of Ireland, connecting Cork Airport with a fourth Polish city. The winter service to Katowice joins the three year-round services to Poland already operated by Ryanair to Gdansk, Poznań and Wroclaw.”
