The Spirit Store is taking over a legendary Cork music venue for one night in October

It was a friendship born during the pandemic.
Now two of Ireland’s most storied independent live music venues are teaming up for a pair of takeovers this October.
DeBarra’s Folk Club in Clonakilty and The Spirit Store in Dundalk, Co. Louth will each stage a night of performances featuring their local champions each other’s turf on Thursday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 25th, 2022
The line-up will feature Jinx Lennon, Alice Robinson, SomeFinn and Rawney, Míde Houlihan, and Wayward Folk.
Thursday, October 13th will see the Spirit Store take over DeBarra’s with legendary Dundalk punk poet-prophet Jinx Lennon leading the charge to the west Cork folk club with Alice Robinson and Somefinn.
On Tuesday, October 25th, DeBarra’s takes over the famous Dundalk venue with a Munster fleet comprised of Rawney, Míde Houlihan, and Wayward folk.
Tickets for the DeBarra’s gig are a very reasonable tenner (doors at 8pm) and available here.
