Want to work in whiskey? Irish Distillers is looking for 12 graduates in Cork and Dublin

They make some of the world’s most enjoyed whiskeys.
Now Irish Distillers is on the hunt for the next generation of employees, inviting graduates to apply for the newly launched Irish Distillers Graduate Programme.
Commencing in September 2023, the company is offering exciting opportunities across chemical engineering, strategy, supply chain, business, HR, business analytics, communications/PR and environmental science.
The programme, which is now open for applications, offers graduates the opportunity to begin their career with the world’s leading producer of Irish whiskey, including Jameson, Powers, Midleton Very Rare, the Spot Family, Redbreast, and Method and Madness.
Graduates will work alongside teams across three locations including the state-of-the-art Midleton Distillery in Cork and within Irish Distillers’ high-volume bottling operations plant in Dublin 22 and head office in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
The two-year programme offers graduates the opportunity to take part in a challenging and rewarding programme that offers real responsibilities, structured learning and exciting and business-critical project work.
“This year, our ambitious business growth plans have led us to expand our graduate programme offering.” said Mairead Griffin, Head of Talent Acquisition at Irish Distillers.
“This allows us to protect and build our pipeline of talent to safeguard our future success.
“With the recent announcement of a €250 million investment to build a new distillery in Cork, subject to achieving a successful planning application and meeting licensing requirements, and our commitment to fund projects aimed at transforming our existing Midleton Distillery into a carbon neutral operation by the end of 2026, there has never been a more exciting time to be part our journey.”
Applications for the next intake close on Monday, October 31st with placements beginning in September 2023. For more information about the programme see irishdistillers.ie/early-careers.
