The Glass Curtain’s delicious ‘Birdsong’ BBQ pop-up is coming back this week

Follow your nose across the Mary Elmes Bridge.
That glorious waft of barbecue sizzle is likely to be emanating from a brand new stall in the Harley Street food market.
Their indoor tables might be out of reach for the time being, but The Glass Curtain on Mac Curtain Street is bringing their food to the streets with Birdsong in the City, a new pop-up on Thursday and Friday from 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2pm.
Birdsong in the City opened last weekend (no reservations, just swing by and order), serving up a mouthwatering menu of summer dishes.

We’re talkin’ pollock ceviche with grilled corn and fermented chilli oil, Piri Piri chicken with house hot sauce, oysters (grilled over charcoal in chilli butter) and Peri Peri courgette, with grilled halloumi, smoked tomato relish in a house milk bun.

Throw in a craft beer or a frozen cocktail and an ice cream sandwich for dessert and you’ve got yourself an alfresco lunch party.
