The Frank & Walters to play outdoor gig in Bandon, and tickets are on sale NOW

After all that we’ve been through…
Iconic Cork band The Frank & Walters have announced a major outdoor gig to take place in Bandon next month. The open air gig will go down in Harte’s Car Park on St. Patrick’s Quay on October 10th and will feature support from local acoustic duo The Shruggs.
The gig was announced this week, promising “a fantastic live show filled with memorable hits to West Cork with an exciting show located at the car park on St. Patrick’s Quay in Bandon.”
Since the return of live music the band has “been busy playing all over the country including a special show at Fitzgeralds Park in Cork City.” Another December gig is lined up for Cork City venue Cyprus Avenue.
The Bandon concert will have a capacity of 200 people, and all adults over the age of 18 will need to prove they are fully vaccinated in order to attend.
Tickets are on sale now and at a price of €21.80 it seems inevitable that they’ll be shifting without too much delay. They’re available here.
The gig is being put on by The Good Room with support Cork County Council and funding from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under the Local Live Performance Programming Scheme.
