Cork artist Shane O’Driscoll is hosting a solo show in his hometown

His bold designs can be spotted all over the country.
Now local artist Shane O’Driscoll is bringing it all back home for a solo exhibition in his hometown of Bandon in February.
Evidence of Ongoings will open at Bandon Library on February 6th with an Artist Talk at 11am, organised by Creative Bandon as part of Bandon Brigid’s Festival. The show runs throughout February so you can drop in for a look later too.
O’Driscoll, whose abstract practice explores rhythm, texture, and form through layered processes, works primarily in print, creating dynamic compositions that invite close looking and open interpretation.

Shane also paints large scale murals (during the summer he completed a huge piece alongside artist Peter Martin at Cork Airport) and is a director of the Ardú Street Art Project, a contemporary mural initiative that brings large scale murals to Cork City. He was an Artist in Residence for Team Ireland at the Paris Olympics 2024.
