The Aircoach to Dublin is still operating for essential travel (with 12 seats per trip)

Seats are very limited.
But if you need to make a trip to the capital during the six-week lockdown, Aircoach has announced that its 704x service from Cork to Dublin City Centre and Dublin Airport will continue to operate for those with essential travel requirements.
In line with Government restrictions, each coach will operate at 25% capacity which means a total of 12 seats will be available per coach.
As a result of the current Level 5 restrictions, Aircoach has suspended two of its routes until November 30th, only operating its 704x service until then. This sees the suspension of route 700 connecting Dublin Airport to Dublin City Centre and UCD, as well as route 705X which connects Belfast to Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre.
The 704x from Cork to Dublin City Centre and Dublin Airport will operate 10 services a day, seven days a week. Travel times are available at aircoach.ie and customers are advised to pre-book their tickets due to the limited number of seats available.
“A large amount of people rely on our 704x service connecting Cork – Dublin which is why we will continue to operate this service for those with essential travel requirements,” said Dervla McKay, Managing Director of Aircoach.
“Unfortunately, we can’t operate all routes which means the suspension of two other services for the next six weeks until restrictions are eased. While we would like to continue running all of our services at 25% capacity, it’s not an option right now and we need to take the necessary steps to protect our business for the long term until we can travel again.”
