It was the shortest awards ceremony in the event’s history.

Still, the 14-minute online Social Media Awards 2020 announcements had plenty of big news in store for Cork.

Yay Cork took home the gold award for Best Instagram (Small Business), one of six gold wins for the Rebel County, announced by event MC Rick O’Shea in a YouTube video.

The Montenotte Hotel and The Glucksman were also among the #Sockies2020 winners at the awards, organised by Cork digital marketing guru Damien Mulley of Mulley Communications.

Hopkins Communications scooped Bronze in the ‘Twitter for Small Business’ category and Partnership International and Crosshaven Computers also took home awards.
