Take this quirky walking tour and TASTE the story of Cork in ten glasses

Not one for a hoity-toity walking tour?
If you prefer to ditch the history books and swap them for ten glorious glasses of liquid Cork, a new walking tour where the sights are secondary to the sips could be right up your alley.
Creative Cork tour guide Ronan Leonard is whisking locals and visitors alike off on his walking tour The Story Of Cork In 10 Glasses.
A unique and memorable way to learn about Cork, Ronan introduces his tour groups to the culture, quirks and qualities of Cork’s people and history over a series of interesting tipples.
“Along the way, we taste 10 drinks (which you don’t have to drink!) that make up the tapestry of the city,” Leonard explains.

“The past, present and future are covered and you see an Authentic Cork that isn’t in the guidebooks. There is water, milk, tea, stout, coffee, whiskey and mead all on the menu and it adds up to about four units of alcohol over two hours.”
The walk is roughly 1.2km in total (there are various days to choose from with 5pm and 7pm slots) and you can book a spot for €30 here.
