Everything looks magical in miniature.
Now you can check out a teeny tiny version of Cork Flower Studio on Douglas Street, where a local artist has recreated the entire building in dollhouse proportions, right down to the working lights and the People’s Parklet outside.
The adorable piece was carefully created by artist Davy Dummigan as part of the latest commission organised by Cork Flower Studio and Notes to Cork.
“Cork Flower Studio is a ray of sunshine in our Douglas Street community so it was a privilege to turn their studio and parklet into a miniature model.” Notes to Cork said in a Tweet.
“Pop by and check the model out in their window display, grab a coffee and take a moment in the parklet.”
Cork Flower Studio is not the first local premises to be given a mini-makeover – Notes to Cork has been delighting business owners and customers alike with miniature building models for a few months now.
“Here is the little model that we made before Christmas and gifted to the O’Shea family.” the billboard advertising company shared.
“The O’Sheas run the Coal Depot that has been in operation on Rutland St/Sawmill St since the 1920s. This building was the family house as well and was lived in up until 30 years ago and was also a shop.”
If it’s within your 5km travel limit you can swing by and check them out on your next stroll through town.
